A face waits inside the stone. Photographed in a cave in Ain W Zein, in Lebanon’s Barouk area, The Watcher explores the moment when a natural formation becomes a presence. A shadowed hollow suggests an eye; fractured ridges trace a cheek and an elongated jaw. The creature remains unresolved, suspended between geology and imagination. Selective light, deep cyan shadows and warm mineral highlights draw this figure out of the surrounding darkness. The face arises from the existing rock formation, revealed through photographic interpretation. This work invites a slower gaze: the longer we look, the more the boundary between stone and living form begins to shift. Limited Edition: Total Run 10
