In “First Light II — Emergence,” the first fragment of the sun breaks through a low cloud bank. Warm radiance is suspended between the illuminated sky and the blue-black landscape below. The image captures a threshold rather than a destination: the instant when light becomes physically visible, yet darkness still occupies most of the frame. Its atmosphere moves between calmness and awakening. Photographed on 29 August 2026 as the second work in the four-part “First Light” series. Limited Edition: Total Run 10
