FIRST LIGHT I — PRELUDE by Abdulrahman Ghalayini

FIRST LIGHT I — PRELUDE

Photography · 60 x 40 cm (unframed) · $800

“First Light I — Prelude” opens the series before the sun becomes visible. A narrow amber glow gathers beneath layered clouds while the lower horizon remains almost entirely in shadow. The photograph explores anticipation—the brief interval when night begins to loosen, but morning has not yet declared itself. Its restrained palette and broad negative space invite slow, contemplative viewing. Photographed on 29 August 2026 as part of “First Light,” a four-image study of atmosphere, duration, and the changing horizon. Limited Edition: Total Run 10
