This piece was completed about a year ago. It is made from pine wood—a tree abundant in Lebanon— this branch was found lying around, it was not cut. I hollowed out the top section and inserted a dried pine cone. The base is made from what is known as a *tabliya* (wooden pallet/slab) and has been treated with a clear finish to highlight the wood's knots and grain patterns.
